  • hidden myspace
  • Add-ons disabled, how do I turn it back on? manage add-ons is not highlighted in the tools drop down?

I accidentally did the same thing recently and got instructions to fix it at the windows update site. To get there-click on tools, then click windows update. After the page downloads go to the windows search box to the top right of page %26amp; type in ';turn on add-ons'; (less the quotation marks) and search it.

It will show you where %26amp; how to get the add-ons up %26amp; working again. Windows update link will fix or show you how to restore everything on your computer.

    Good Luck

How do i enable add-ons to my internet explorer if in the tools section the manage add-ons is not highlighted?

Go to your IE icon (or start menu listing) and ';right click'; it, select ';properties';, in the ';Target'; box delete ';-extoff'; at the end of the command line. This will enable add ons. To manage them go to tools etc.

Firefox has been proven to have less security breaches and is better with customization. if your tired of having to deal with IE's crap, switch to Firefox, it makes the world easier and it automatically moves everything from IE such as favorites and bookmarks to Firefox. just try...
