Highlight Reel/Barbershop Parallel?

Was it just me, or did was Jericho's turn on Michaels oddly similar to Michaels' turn on his Rocker partner, Marty Jannetty, on the Barbershop?





In the Barbershop, Michaels superkicked Jannetty and then threw him into a barbershop window. Tonight, Jericho kicked Michaels in the pants and then talked trash to an injured Michaels, in nearly the same style, before throwing him into the JerichoTron, which stood in for the Barbshop window. It shattered nearly the same as well.

i was thinking the same thing, i was like hmm kinda like janetty going through the window on the barbor shop..And Y2J said the worse is yet to come, i think this is going to be a long rivalry..and for anyone who doesn't think its a good rivalry should watch the match from WrestleMania 19 Y2J vs HBK, one of the best matches of both their careers.Highlight Reel/Barbershop Parallel?
while i think it was an homage to the barbershop incident, i really don't think anything will really come from it. it was just a tribute to that moment, nothing more.
