If I wanted to make a UFC highlight reel how can I do that without gettin in trouble with copyright laws?

If I wanted to make a highlight reel of lets say Chuck Liddell or Randy Couture how can I do so without getting my video deleted off Myspace and Youtube because of copyright laws?





What im tryin to ask is how can I use other peoples videos to make my own video without breaking copyright laws?

By getting the copyright owners permission.





There is no way to legally use copyright material in something like a 'highlights reel'; unless you have the owners consent.





EDIT.... the presence of names or logos is irrelevant - the copyright lies in the vide itself, not just in any logos. To get permission contact UFC... I'm sure if you look on their website you'll find a link to a licensing department.

You have to get permission from the copyright holder. In your case the holder is likely who reported it or someone acting as the owner. Best thing is to use less actual you tubers videos. You won't get the permission even if you write for it. York Ash MMA fighting highlight video is on the York Ash channel. In your case youtube on delete it under their website copy rights. It's almost like using their account, like someone singing and you download the videos in your account. You can try putting them in your favorites
